Kale Cucumber Pear Protein Smoothie

Start your day with a serving of greens and 31 grams of protein with this recipe. The pear and cucumber sweeten the smoothie making it a refreshing drink for breakfast.

Serves: 1

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup kale
  • 1 cup cucumber
  • 1 cup pear
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 serving unsweetened vanilla whey protein powder
  • 5 raw cashews

Place all ingredients in the blender in order listed above. Secure lid and blend for about 1 minute. If a thinner consistency is desired, add a little water and blend for about 20 more seconds.  I recommend the Vitamix blender.
