President Director of the National Mental Health Center (PKJN) Marzoeki Mahdi Hospital (RSMM) Dr. Dr. John R. Joseph, Sp.KJ said a healthy mentality can help teenagers innovate and think critically.
“Adolescent mental health is very important, because it can help adolescents innovate, think critically and take advantage of existing opportunities including in the tourism sector and the creative economy,” Nova said in a written statement in Jakarta, Monday.

Nova explained that the hospital had just launched the Youth Mental Health Center (YMHC) program in an effort to provide comprehensive and holistic support for Adolescent Health. Ymhc’s flagship programs are counseling, therapy, and group support, mental health education including Life Skills Training, music therapy such as angklung, sport therapy, holistic services such as sound healing assessment, meditation, yoga, bullying prevention and Suicide Prevention.
YMHC PKJN RSMM is committed to collaborating with various stakeholders to create a healthy physical and mental atmosphere for adolescents.
“Currently, we are also cooperating with the Indonesian Airsoftgun Federation Inorga to make this sport an effort to maintain physical and mental health, and build a more resilient young generation mentality. PKJN RSMM as the National Coordinator of 269 hospitals keesheatan mental care network, PKJN RSMM must fight for employment as well as Job Club for our patients whose condition is stable,” he explained again.

Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, also supports PKJN RSMM with all its facilities such as Heritage Golf Field into a gathering place for Sports Tourism, Youth Mental Health Center, implementation of Creative Economy programs (including music, painting), and Wellness .
Previously, the Ministry of Tourism and creative economy organized the MiCE to Meet you : Dialog Road To Community Children’s Music Work Festival 2024 which was held at RSMM Heritage Golf Field Bogor, on Sunday (22/9/2023). The activity aims to share insights and discuss the conditions, challenges of the current music community, downstream efforts and the distribution process of works, as well as to create collaboration opportunities in the future which is also a means for the music community to have a sustainable container through Community Children’s music festival activities.
